Shelby County- Criminal Court 6 judge denies defendant ability to plead guilty as charged in the indictment. Defendant cannot plead guilty and throw himself on the court for sentencing. Defendant cannot admit his wrongdoing and be sentenced as charged. Criminal Court Judge states no reasons, but sides with the State. More to come.
